Ester
Ester was born in Monte Plata, but now shares her home with her husband and their three children in Santo Domingo. Her main occupation is selling clothing and beauty products from the comfort of her home. She feels deeply grateful for the sponsorships she has received for her three children through Mission Emanuel.
A friend invited Ester to an outreach event at Mission Emanuel. This is how she learned about the co-op. As she’s loved making crafts from a young age, she felt very motivated to join. At the Cielo Cooperative, Ester hopes to acquire new techniques and be able to start her own business in the future.
